It's 2009, why hasn't technology advanced on the power situation? The electric lines should be underground with the gas and water, then the wind couldn't cause damage upon them. We should not have to go without electricity for two days in the cold winter! Our old community with lots of large mature trees doesn't help the scenario. Thankfully we have a gas fireplace in our bedroom so we survived. Papa Bear took the day off work to watch over us. Baby Bear spent two nights in our bed. We all snuggled and kept warm.

Daddy moved the glider from the nursery into our bedroom as well as Dane's bouncy chair. We made the best of our time. :)
